These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Sungy mobile application (the "Application"), created and operated by Sang Ngo (the "Service Provider"). The Application is offered as a freemium service providing core learning features for free alongside optional premium subscriptions and purchases.
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Application.
Parental Responsibility & Accounts
The Application is designed for children and learners under parental supervision. Parent Mode and Account Registration (via Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In) are intended to be accessed and managed exclusively by parents or adult legal guardians. Parents are responsible for supervising their children's use of the Application.
License and Restrictions
The Service Provider grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Application
- Bypass or attempt to circumvent any security features, Parent Mode gates, or access controls
- Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or legal notices
- Use the Application in any manner that violates applicable local or international laws
Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
The Application may offer auto-renewing subscriptions or lifetime purchases for premium features and content:
- Billing: Payment processing, billing, and subscription renewals are handled exclusively through your Apple App Store or Google Play account, governed by the respective store payment terms and managed via RevenueCat.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off or canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period.
- Management & Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your active subscription anytime through your device's Store Account Settings (Apple ID Settings on iOS or Google Play Subscriptions on Android).
Third-Party Services
The Application integrates third-party tools for authentication, backend cloud storage, crash reporting, and subscription handling. Use of these services is governed by their respective terms:

No Advertising
The Application is intended for children and family learning. It does not include third-party advertising networks or in-app ad banners.
Connectivity and Device Responsibility
Certain features (such as progress cloud sync and initial audio/image downloads) require internet connectivity. You are responsible for any cellular data charges, internet service fees, and for keeping your mobile device updated and secure.
Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Application—including all source code, design elements, graphics, audio assets, character designs, and learning materials—remain the exclusive property of Sang Ngo or licensed content providers.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your access to or use of (or inability to use) the Application.
Termination
These Terms remain effective until terminated. The Service Provider reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to cloud services if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your agreement at any time by deleting your account and uninstalling the Application.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon being published on this page.
